Rings

I am pretty excited to show this before and after simply because I am pretty happy that I finally got a good ring shot. I always had a problem focusing on rings and I think this shot is my best ring shot yet.

I cannot remember all the steps I used to edit this...

  • Shot using Nikon D5000 with the 17-55/2.8 and SB-600
  • Edited in CS5
  • Zoomed and straightened
  • Rand slight unsharp mask
  • Adjusted levels and curves
  • Cannot remember what else...

      neat place for a ring photo! i love your crops week after week! i think i prefer the original composition tho with the rings in the top right...but i can see why you'd definitely want to crop out the table cloth being in focus on the bottom left.
