Miss Coley and her Birthday Outfit

As I mentioned yesterday, this past weekend I took some photos of a very adorable 1 year old. Yesterday I showed you outfit #1…behold outfit #2! This is one of the cutest little birthday outfits I have ever seen – compete with a birthday cupcake on her bloomers. I was quite impressed that she did not fuss while wearing the hat. After walking around the boardwalk, we came up to this cute little red barn – what a great setting for some photos, and the wagon wheel provided some great support for a “not quite ready to walk” baby.

Miss Coley

This past weekend I finally had the opportunity to take some 1st birthday photos of Miss Coley - we have been trying to plan this shoot for at least a month! I met her mom at the Kemah Boardwalk and Miss Coley could not have been a more cooperative baby. She did a fabulous job. Here is one of the shots from today - I will share some more adorable shots later this week. She had THE CUTEST birthday outfit. This shot is from outfit #1. Enjoy!

Before and After: Liz

I have not done a before and after post in a few weeks – like I said my schedule has been pretty hectic and I have not had time to post. I am posting another photo from this past weekend’s session – this one if of Liz. We shot some of the girls in front of this really cool metal wall type thing and I think they turned out quite nicely.

Took the wall to the right out

Ran the “Burn Out” TRA action and adjusted a bit (cannot remember exactly what I did with this one)

Black & White Wednesday: Girlfriends

So I know it has been awhile since my last post, but I was out of town all week last week for work - and well, barely had time to check my e-mail let alone update my blog. So I am back on the wagon with a Black and White Wednesday post! This past Sunday I met up with my friend Rebecca for a fun session with her sister and friends. Meet Liz, Sydney, Brooke,and Brianna. These girls were not shy around the camera, and they are a blast to photograph, they had a blast walking around downtown and taking some fun photos!

Scavenger Hunt Sunday - and a vote?

I am back to Scavenger Hunt Sunday! I know you missed me...life has been busy and I had not been shooting. I did get some photos done for this week though! Here are my interpretations of this weeks hunt themes

1. Water - This week was crazy weather for Houston, we got covered in ice Friday morning. It was supposed to be snow, but shocker the weather man was wrong, so we got ice and about 800 reported accidents around the city. While my car was warming up I grabbed the camera to take some photos of the ice etc... Here is one of our plants covered in ice...or frozen water = )

2. Quote - This was from the session I did for my brother in law. Those that have read my blog know that his mom is battling pancreatic cancer, they got her a teddy to have during her treatments, etc... so now Evan and Nana have their own teddy

3. Window - This is a tad of a stretch, but like I said we had our "winter storm" Thursday night. We had left my car outside so it was covered in ice in the morning - so here is the ice that was coating my windows and car Friday morning.

4. Activity - This one is pretty self explanatory. Brad and I play softball every Friday, it is an "activity" that we enjoy doing together

5. Page 25 - This is from one of my weekly People magazines. I think the page is pretty appropriate

We could never tell who Evan looked like, or who he favored but after seeing this photo, I can finally tell that Evan definitely has his daddy’s cheeks.
