It's OK

I am linking up for It's OK Thursday for the first time in months...really MONTHS

Its Ok Thursdays

IT"S OK...

...that I had a mild freak out because I missed Dance Moms and had to look up to see when it came on again so I could set the DVR

...that I am ridiculously excited for this weekend because I have no shoots scheduled and going to the Dynamo game

...that I am excited that I got 2 etsy sales in 1 day for these items:

This print

and these coasters:

...that I may have gone overboard on shopping with my first paycheck from my new job

...that I am one of the crazies going to see Magic Mike on opening night - I never go see movies opening night but this is clearly an exception

...that there is a mound of clothes taller than the Rockies sitting on our chair that are waiting to be folded

...that me and my friend J are trying to get #crappantiesfart trending on twitter

...that I may light our living room furniture on fire

...that my jaw hit the floor last week at Hobby Lobby when I saw Christmas decorations were out

...that even though I was shocked at the Christmas decor I almost bought some...but it was not on sale yet

Texas Tuesday

Linking up for Texas Tuesday with Amanda and J

Texas Tuesday

What I love most about Texas is obviously our 4 seasons…

Ummmm ok…

Let’s try this again…

Texas I love your rivers, specifically the Guadalupe. Screw the Comal and your dumb drinking laws. Anything that requires such little effort and provides endless amount of entertainment is right in my book.

I mean what is more fun than sitting in a tube floating down a river with a yummy beverage in hand belting out some tunes? Yeah, pretty much nothing.

FYI I met my husband on the river, ok well maybe not technically on the river but we stayed at his apartment the first summer I was “legally” able to drink on the river so it counts. Also FYI I did not stay at some random boys apartment - I went to school with the husband’s best friend, I am not THAT dumb.

This my friends is a huge reason why Texas is by far the most kick ass state.

We shall call it a hiatus...

Honestly I have not even opened blogger in a couple months, to even READ blogs let alone post – obviously right since my last post date was eons ago…

I have honestly not even had time to think about blogging.

Maybe I will pick it up again? …we shall see, this is step 1

Life Updates:

Photography is SUPER busy, I am looking forward to July where I have 3 weekends open and I cannot wait. With 2 weddings in June and about 15 other sessions I was on overload – this would normally not be a problem but I started a job.

Yes. Corporate America has welcomed me into their arms.

I am now a Marketing Coordinator for a large oil and gas company here in Houston, it has been amazing so far and was way too good to pass up!

I never announced but I was laid off a little over a year ago, although it was a punch you in the stomach rip the floor out from under you shock I took this unplanned freedom and began Fleurish Imagery.

Never in eleventy-billion years did I think that it would turn into what it has. I never thought that I would meet the people I have, have repeat clients, referrals, and that people would cry over how much they love their photos – but it has been the most amazing and rewarding journey that I look forward to continue for years to come.

It has been an adjustment over the past few weeks, but it has been pretty amazing. I am really going to try and get back on this blogging train again for the 47th time.

And in other equally important news, the hubs and the cat are both doing amazeballs too.

I was really just looking for a reason to say amazeballs.
