And that's just what I'll do....in a walking medical boot that is. Talk about a fashion statement. Yeah it is real cute.
When I was in Beaumont on the 14th playing in our soccer tournament me and another girl went for the ball, and what do you know I got the ball and she got my shin. I thought all was OK, and my smart self played in the next game. That was not smart. After our game, which we lost (enter sad face here.) I saw that my whole calf was swollen, oops.
Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday painfully came and went, by Friday morning I could not walk so I finally went to the doctor. Now those who know me know that hell must have frozen over for me to go. X-rays came back, NOT BROKEN, but the swelling was so bad that the doctor was afraid that it was going to put too much pressure on my bones and crack them, so walking boot and crutches it is. I went for a follow up yesterday and I am still out for another 3 weeks. Boooo.
I guess it is understandable I mean it looks like I am in my ninth month of pregnancy and I am retaining all my water in my right foot. No really it does; and it is a nice shade of purple. I would show you a picture but I will spare you. B thinks I should retire, but if there are people on our team nearly 10 years older than me, then that tells me I still have some good years left in me.
Movie bet update: I am in the lead, and if it continues the way it is, I WILL win, Tommy Bahamas please!
