Black and White Wednesday - Boot Scootin'

Black and White Wednesday at The Long Road to China is here! I took this photo last weekend while we were in New Braunfels, my wonderful friend Barbie thought it would be fun to dance on top of the coffee table in our condo. Everyone loves a shoe shot, so here ya go - Barbie boot scootin'.....on the furniture. Hey it was her party, she could do what she wanted!

In a Yellow House - Landscapes

The theme at In a Yellow House is all about landscapes. I took this photo while we were on vacation in Steamboat Springs, CO. We saw this part of the mountain after we took the gondola up to the very top, this was behind the ski lift - even higher up. I hate the cold weather but it is absolutely beautiful there and I would definitely go back

Here is my "white" photo. I had a different photo that I wanted to submit but kept coming back to this one. I think because it reminds me of cotton, which is also white...which you also know so I do not know why I told you that. Anyway, here it is!

Shutter Love Tuesday - Faces

It is Shutter Love Tuesday at Trendy Treehouse again, and this weeks theme is all about "faces." Here is my nephew once again. My sister (his mom) first saw this photo and wished his pacifier was not in his mouth, but then realized it showed him in true fashion - with messy hair and his te-te (pacifier) in his mouth.

I {Heart} Faces

I have not submitted a photo for I Heart Faces in a few weeks, but this weeks challenge is Over My Head. This is a photo of my adorable nephew, Evan from when we were babysitting him. I think he is throwing up the OK sign because me and his Uncle were doing a fantastic job babysitting him - or he was just really happy that we gave him french fries. Either way, here he is, with his teddy and sporting one shoe.

My Best {favorite} Shot

Ch-Ch-Ch Changes...

...are on the horizon for me and I could not be more excited! No I am not pregnant, which seems to be the reaction when I have been saying "I have news!" My news is that I will be starting a new job in T-minus 2 weeks! Wednesday afternoon I put my notice in, which was a very difficult, but my husband and  I know that this is the right thing to do. I have been at my current job for 4 years. I went through being engaged, planning our wedding, getting married, and purchasing a home. I have made some of the best friends there, that will continue to always be in my life, but it was time for a change, time to grow and see what else I can do. I am excited to see what my new job brings me, and where it takes me, and my husband.  My new title: Marketing Communications Coordinator...fancy huh?? haha

Since I am in a happy place right now, I will share a photo that makes me happy!
